Spotlight: Holly Gardner

The Bulletin is always on the lookout for locals who like to share their farming, ranching, and homesteading experiences. Recently we came across Holly Gardner’s blog called Beavercreek Backyard Farm, her diary about hobby farming on 1.3 acres on “the shady side of a hill in Beavercreek.”

Their acreage includes a range of gardens, fruit and nut trees, a chicken yard for over a dozen hens and a rooster, sheep, pygmy goats, cats, and sheepdogs. Holly writes about everything from gardening to recipes to homestead fixes and more. With her permission, we included her latest post in the Bulletin about making beeswax wraps. Please do check out her blog for more great tips or simply to follow her hobby farm adventures: https://gardnerh.wordpress.com/. Enjoy!
